Exams… Already?!

Whew, time does fly so fast. It is still clear in my mind when I first stepped inside the campus of San Pedro College. Now, I am already taking my first exam of my Sophomore year. I haven’t studied last night so I had a hard time answering all the test questions. I was reall sleepy when I came home last night so I just slept right away. I still got tons of study materials to read so I’d better get going.emoticon

Final Fantasy Versus XIII Development Halted

According to the Famitsu article (as translated by NeoGaf forum members) the majority of those working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII have been pulled off to go work on the core title. It already takes Square Enix forever to complete a main FF game that it’s ludicrous of them to think they could pull this off. Why they’d ever have separate teams not working on the main game is incomprehensible.

Square Enix has issued a statement to Eurogamer stating that: "Reports that development for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is on hold are false," said a representative from Square Enix. "The truth of the situation is that when free, some staff from the Versus team have been helping with the XIII team on development of Final Fantasy XIII. Development for both titles is continuing as originally scheduled."

That’s What You Get Lyrics

Artist: Paramore

No sir, well I don’t wanna be the blame, not anymore.
It’s your turn, so take a seat we’re settling the final score.
And why do we like to hurt so much?

I can’t decide
You have made it harder just to go on
And why, all the possibilities where I was wrong

That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating.
And that’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

I wonder, how am I supposed to feel when you’re not here.
‘Cause I burned every bridge I ever built when you were here.
I still try holding onto silly things, I never learn.
Oh why, all the possibilities I’m sure you’ve heard.

That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating (beating)
And that’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

Pain make your way to me, to me.
And I’ll always be just so inviting.
If I ever start to think straight,
This heart will start a riot in me,
Let’s start, start, hey!

Why do we like to hurt so much?
Oh why do we like to hurt so much?

That’s what you get when you let your heart win!
Whoa.

That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
That’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

Now I can’t trust myself with anything but this,
And that’s what you get when you let your heart win, whoa

Fall For You Lyrics

 Artist: Secondhand Serenade

The best thing about tonight’s that we’re not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before
I know you don’t think that I am trying
I know you’re wearing thin down to the core

But hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don’t make me change my mind
Or I won’t live to see another day
I swear it’s true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You’re impossible to find

This is not what I intended
I always swore to you I’d never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may have failed
But I have loved you from the start
Ohhhh

But hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don’t make me change my mind
Or I won’t live to see another day
I swear it’s true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
It’s impossible

So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in
I’m yours to keep
And hold onto your words
Cause talk is cheap
And remember me tonight
When you’re asleep

Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don’t make me change my mind
Or I won’t live to see another day
I swear it’s true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don’t make me change my mind
Or I won’t live to see another day
I swear it’s true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You’re impossible to find

Sony Camcorder’s Shutter Smile Technology

Sony has introduced a high-definition camcorder with both Smile Shutter and face detection technologies, the HDR-CX12 Handycam.

The camcorder is capable of recording full 1920 x 1080 HD video and 10 mega pixels photos. It uses Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo media and any Memory Stick Pro Duo (Mark2) media cards to store data. Roughly the size of a soda can (2.8-inches wide by 5.3-inches tall by 2.8-inches deep), this ultra-compact model is intended to allow easy transfer of video and stills from media cards to a compatible PC to share via email, uploading to the Internet, or burning to disc.

An industry first, says the company, Sony’s unique Smile Shutter technology lets users capture smiling photos and record video at the same time, even in standby mode. When activated, the technology is supposed to detect and automatically take a photo when your subject smiles without having to switch to photo mode or press the photo button.

It also features child and adult prioritization so you can capture photos when your intended subject group smiles.

In addition to face detection technology, the camcorder is packed with features such as ClearVid CMOS sensor with Exmor-derived technology which are supposed to produce immense video detail and clarity. It also has a BIONZ imaging processor, an advanced Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 12x optical zoom lens, and Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization for smooth video and clear photos, says Sony.

The model has a 2.7-inches Clear Photo LCD Plus screen, Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround sound recording, as well as a built-in zoom microphone to record clear dialogue. It has an assignable dial that can be customized to manually control focus, brightness, and white balance.

The camcorder bundles along a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (Mark2) media card. A Handycam Station cradle is also supplied, making it easy to create DVD with its One Touch Disc Burn button. Also in the package is the Picture Motion Browser software meant to easily enable viewing, organizing, and storing videos and photos on a compatible PC.

The HDR-CX12 camcorder will be in stores early August for about $900. India-availability is not known yet.
